BLISTER MANAGEMENT THE OLD FASHIONED WAY. For those out there having issues running after a race because of that nagging blister on your heel, try this. Head to the tool shed, grab your drill and a 1″ spade bit, mount shoe on a vice and drill away right where the blister is. (go to photo). Remember when moleskin was the answer?, not any more, the shoe is the moleskin. This pair of vitesse are still new but still perform perfectly with maximum support. Hurry up and go buy another pair, we never know when they will be available! how come the vitesse has become so hard to find? this has been my preferred “nasty” shoe for years. I cannot find them anywhere anymore.
Vitesse have been hard to find because they were backordered so long I think when they finally hit the market again most of us swallowed them up quickly. Click through our website on our list of merchants and check there first. -Karl
you must be an 11.5, because nobody seems to have that size.
Moosejaw and Backcountry try to stock them, but don’t have that size in stock. Alltrec does not sell them, REI stocks them, but only have size 8.

Wanted to follow up with a story. I could not find an email address for you guys, so this will do. I have searched and searched for 11.5 Vitesse for a long time. I went through my last pair in late April and have been like a lost dog ever since. I have chased rumors of small town outdoor shops who carry montrail. I used all of the online resources I could find. I hit up local running and outdoor stores here, there and everywhere. I also followed the advise you presented here and contaced the Wasatch Running Company. Of course, back in May, I spoke with ………. and he told me they were out, etc.
I put in another call last week on a whim and got Glen on the phone. Not only was he interested in helping me, he apologized for not having stock in my size. He said he was interested in finding these shoes for me and took my name, number, etc down and said he would call me back. He got back in touch with me after calling around to Utah based Outdoor stores seeking to find/buy some overstock that they may have. He was able to find 2 pairs of Vitesse for me. Bought them himself, sold them to me at a discount and even shipped them to me here in Oregon.
