Did the last change? Does the different toe rand make a difference???
So I ordered a new pair of Vitesse’s back in late April. Same 11 1/2 I’ve been wearing for the past three years, they were just not right, a bit too snug on the toes, toes would bump into the front on descents. Checked the insole, it was a bit thicker than the “old” model so I swapped out a used insole and experienced a bit more toe room. Still not the right fit, ran in wet shoes to stretch them, nada.
Last week I finally gave in and ordered a pair of 12′s, much better fit, tried an old pair on and the newest, they fit the same… Took out the trusty tape measure, the old 11 ½ and the new model 12 have the insole! Have you guys noticed this? The “new” model has a different toe rand with a small checker pattern, versus the large checkers on the old model.
