Here’s a sweet ride with a ton of cushion and large toe box the Wildcat has become one of my favorite La Sportiva Trail Shoes. I ran my last two 100 milers in the Wildcats, the Wasatch 100 and Oil Creek 100. The shoe it self does weighs a little more then the Fireblades and is a little bulkier but has a killer traction(  FriXion® X-Axis rubber outsole ) system that gives you a lot of confidence to bomb the technical muddy downhills.
