The staggered start is interesting. I wonder how front runners feel having to negotiate around the slower folks when they catch up to them. And, likewise, I bet some of the slower folks might feel deflated having a lot of the faster runners scooting by them all day. Still, it seems it will give everyone more of a chance at hanging out together after the run. I'm looking forward to the feedback.

Good luck at 2 Moon. Looks like a beast of a course but a lot of fun. Staggered start and finsih time "window" is a pretty cool idea. Look forward to hearing how it goes.

I'm curious to hear how the staggered start works out.

Optimators will do it every time. They're greasy as could be.

I envy you on this one, Scott, even if you're out there for 34 hours or more. Crunching the numbers, I couldn't make this work--heck I could barely find Ojai on a map.

Good luck--and save a couple those bocks for yourself post-race. It'll be spring by race day, after all. And, of course, bock means goat!
