Trail Running with your dog
This is Juneau and her brother Timber, these two pups weigh more than any cougar. The team of Malamute/Timberwolves are great to have with you when running through the mountains of Utah, knowing you passed at least one cougar while running. After a couple seasons of trail running, these pups are always checking me for my running belt when I leave the house, once they see the water bottles, the howling begins. Dogs are the one training partner that will never bail on you for a run! Man best friend !! Wasatchspeedgoat

Great photos of your dogs. Those are a couple of burly training partners. I was blown away how large both were…especially Timber. It’s good they have your back out there in the Uintas. Can they go the distance you can on winter runs with no problem? GBM

That is for sure. My Border Collie, Topaz, is my best running/training partner. He never sleeps in, is never late, never complains and will run my pace/distance. More than what I can say for the people I sometimes runs with. He’s run a few 50 milers and many 30-40’s with me.
