WSG,
Josh from Heber is correct. I never thought about trying to run up timp. I have hiked some of it but I am willing to giv it a try. Thanks!!! Not sure where you are but for a fun easy run the Heber Valley has some great trails and Soldier Hollow has a great trail system that lets you feel the glory of the Olympics. My best to all.

Hey Goats,
I was out on the island running a slightly shorter race(25k) but I agree that the day was great. I am really new to the trail running world and I really have liked it so far. I am signed up for the Triple Trail this summer but would like to get some training advice on going down the hills( they almost killed me on the buffalo run. I am also looking for a group or team to join. Any words of wisdom for this young guy would be great. Talk to you soon.
Best,
Josh

Hey Scott....I too enjoyed the day Saturday. It was a perfect day to run 50 miles. I wasn't far in front of you, but managed to barely pull off a time breaking the 9 hour mark (8:57). I'd love to come run the Snowbird Goat run, or whatever you're calling it on July 21st, but unfortunately (and fortunately) I've been invited to be a pacer and crew member for the first ever South American (and Brazilian) womer to compete in Badwater Death Valley. And we are meeting in Vegas on that same day before the race on Monday. But good luck to you and all those who join you in the mountains. I'm sure I'll see you again soon. BTW...I'm in SquawPeak 50 this year. It's my come back since my first attempt 3 years ago I had to bail at 33 miles due to URINATION OF BLOOD....yeah...gross, I know! And very scary.

Take care,
Jarom

Hey no problemo! hope they all made it in one piece. Sounds like one of them did. They were awkward to pack. you'll get a kick out of em'.
I had the head cold for a few days last week, man does that make running a drag! good on ya though for stickin' it out. hopefully these quads will be back to normal for this weekend (:

thanks again
