Montrail the Dog
Yes there is a dog named Montrail, I found him lost and starving up Rose canyon in Utah 7 years ago. Montrail has become the most loyal training partner any one could ask for. Even though Montrail has backed off his mileage the last couple years, he can still bang out the toughest trail runs of all ! Montrail will be at the Wasatch 100 finish line to greet the runners this year! Two scrapes from Montrail!

VERY cool race, wish I had the money to run, mountain events are my specialty.
It looks like we’re both running McNaughton and Massanutten in the coming months. I’d love to hear from you to get some tips… and look forward to meeting you at the races.

Can I please borrow Montrail to pull me up and over Chinscrapper? Otherwise, if I get lost at Wasatch, please attach a cask of beer around his neck and set him loose into the wilds of Utah. I’m sure he’ll find me.
